§ 01  Operating principles

## Three rules I will not bend on.

1.  ### Small is the feature, not a constraint.

    You email me, I answer. No account manager, no offshore team, no handoff to a junior on day one.

2.  ### Fixed-fee is more honest than time-and-materials.

    If my estimate is wrong, that is my problem, not yours. T&M punishes you for my learning curve and rewards me for moving slowly.

3.  ### Say no when I should.

    If I am not the right fit I will say so on the discovery call and refer you to someone who is. Better than burning four weeks finding out together.
